- You may be connected. Once the ppp connection is made, you should get a
- shell with an amigados prompt (i.e. dh0:> or somesuch). At this point you can
- start an application such as AMosaic or Thor, etc. Try command ping followed
- by a net site address (ping wuarchive.wustl.edu). If you see that your modem
- is pinging and you get readings of speed of transmission and number of connects,
- then you're on.
